Let’s practice the chords needed to play comping for Elzic’s Farewell.

Piano Melody and Harmony

Let’s practice different comping techniques.

Long tones low on the instrument. G string is the lowest string. C string is the lowest string.

Practice Root and Fifth. Practice Root and Third.

Play on count two and four.

Mixing it all up. Using a different pattern for each section.
