Concerto Workshop

 

Concerto Workshop will rehearse this year at Trinity Church in Beaver. In the evenings from August 6th through August 10th musicians of all ages will be able to explore the art of the concerto. The theme this year is double concertos. We will be performing Bach’s Concerto in D minor for two violins, the second movement of Brahm’s Double Concerto, Telemann’s Concerto for two violas in G Major, Vivaldi’s Concerto for two cellos in G minor, and the first movement of Mozart’s Piano Concerto¬†in F Major, K 242.

Miriam Troxler resides in Beaver, Pa, where she runs a private music studio. After graduation from Chatham University, she toured in Europe with the Continental Singers Orchestra as principal cellist. A long time member of Greenville Symphony Orchestra, she is also the founder and musical director of CelloBrationS. Miriam enjoys composing and arranging with several published pieces to date.
