Open String Chanukah for Cello lets a new cello student play duets and enjoy the holiday season. The first part uses only open strings. The second part has the melody. The collection includes Chanukah, S’vivon, Chanukah Oy Chanukah, Maoz Tzur, and Chanukah Candle Blessings. The duets may be used with the other collections in the series, Open String Chanukah for Violin and Open String Chanukah for Viola.

Miriam Troxler resides in Beaver, Pa, where she runs a private music studio. After graduation from Chatham University, she toured in Europe with the Continental Singers Orchestra as principal cellist. A long time member of Greenville Symphony Orchestra, she is also the founder and musical director of CelloBrationS. Miriam enjoys composing and arranging with several published pieces to date.
