A new piano trio arrangement of Scott Joplin’s Weeping Willow is now available. It opens with a long piano solo. The violin and cello parts begin to sing during the first statement of the theme. The cello part begins in bass line groove. By the end of the trio, tenor clef reading is required for the cellist. The violin part requires double stops and shifting. Heavily dependent on accurate rhythmic playing in all the parts, the piano shines in this arrangement with the strings intensifying the melodic experience.
