Building on the techniques in Open String Christmas, Open String Christmas,Volume 2 lets a new student play duets and enjoy the holiday season. The first part uses only open strings. The second part has the melody. There are more rhythms and more rhythmic independence between the parts compared to Open String Christmas.

The collection includes O Christmas Tree, Deck the Hall, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Once in Royal David’s City, O Come, All Ye Faithful, Angels from the Realms of Glory and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.

All of the tunes are compatible in Open String Christmas for Violin Volume 2, Open String Christmas for Viola Volume 2 and Open String Christmas for Cello Volume 2 for mixed ensemble playing.
