Weeping Willow for String Quartet

This arrangement was started before the trios but got put to the side for the piano trio arrangements. The string quartet arrangement of Scott Joplin’s Weeping Willow is now available as a digital download. The violins and the viola share the melody. The cello part maintains the eighth note bass line throughout.

As a string quartet arrangement, it is challenging. It could be used for string orchestra with divisi of the double stops in the upper string parts and the basses doubling the cello part.
