Learn by Ear: Menuet No. 2 in F

This year for Point Contest there is a learn by ear assignment.

Mozart’s Menuet No. 2 in F is 24 measures long. There are two repeated sections. The first one is 8 measures. The second is the remainder of the piece. Here is the playlist that shows each part with right hand alone, left hand alone and hands together. The first note of each hand is F.

This assignment is worth 100 points. There is a 25-point bonus if you submit your assignment by Mozart’s birthday (January 27).

Piano A, B, C: Learn right hand for 50 points, learn left hand for 50 points

Piano D, E: Learn right hand for 40 points, left hand for 40 points, together 20 points

Piano F: Hands together 100 points

Violin and Viola: Learn right hand for 80 points, learn left hand for 20 points

Cello: Learn left hand for 80 points, learn right hand for 20 points
