Buttermilk Falls Park is located along Route 18 in Beaver Falls, PA.
The sign is easy to see from the road. A small parking area is adjacent to the trail.
The trail winds through a wooded area.
To the left of the trail, you can see the creek bed.
The water flows along the rocks through the green vegetation.
To the right of the trail, there is evidence in the stone that it had been used as a quarry.
The channels drilled into the rock are easy to find.
The trail is fairly short, but it is not flat.
The falls stay hidden until almost the end of the trail.
Above the falls there is a railroad.
The pool at the bottom of the 35 foot waterfall can be enjoyed on a hot summer day.
We went to see the Wild With Style Art Show last Friday.
On Display at Wild With Style.
It was held at Lanterman’s Mill. We have gone to the falls before, but this was our first time in the mill.
We saw the wheel, which was 14 feet tall.
The chisel marks were still visible in the sandstone from the builders.
The mill was built into the cliff face on one side.
Water trickles through the rocks, into the base of the mill, and out into the creek.
