Mary Roberts Rinehart Nature Park

Mary Roberts Rinehart Nature Park is located in Osborne, PA at the corner of Beaver Road and Glen Mitchel Road next to Osborne Elementary School.

A wide gravel path leads into the park.

At the bottom of the gravel path, a little waterfall flows under the road.

The small stream continues along the border of the park.

The park has many places to rest. The benches and picnic tables are rugged.

In the upper section of the park there is an amphitheater.

The lower portion of the park has a fire circle.

Paths are clearly marked and gently sloping.

I enjoyed watching the birds and looking at the mushrooms.

Trees are labeled with small specimen tags.

A few flowers are blooming.

What is talent?

Senior Recital 2013

Zeesha and Christian’s Senior Recital will be on Sunday, May 19th at 7:30 PM. The recital will take place in Ambridge at the Beth-Samuel Jewish Center, 810 Kennedy Dr.

5 Sinfonias for String Trio

In this collection, Sinfonia No.1 in C major, BWV 787, Sinfonia No.2 in C minor, BWV 788, Sinfonia No.3 in D major, BWV 789, Sinfonia No.4 in D minor, BWV 790, and Sinfonia No.5 in E♭ major, BWV 791 are arranged for string trio.

An intermediate collection, the sinfonias can be played with two violins and a cello or violin, viola and cello. Shifting is necessary in all of the parts. Sinfonia 1 requires some tenor clef in the cello part.

Concerto Workshop 2013

Concerto Workshop will rehearse this year at Trinity Church in Beaver. In the evenings, August 5th through August 9, musicians of all ages will be able to explore the art of concerto playing and accompanying. Workshop musicians may participate in the event without learning a concerto. For those who are planning to be a soloist, the following works have been chosen for this year.
